Role: Consulting Market Strategist, while a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting
Description: Analyzed developing markets to guide Deloitte Consulting's five-year global growth plan.
Deloitte Consulting wanted to penetrate developing markets with a strong consulting presence.
Based on Middle East experience, was selected to lead the Manufacturing and Consumer Business
team to determine the most promising markets and service offerings for future investment for
this vertical. Analyzed anticipated growth rates, cultural issues, political stability,
business climate and existing Deloitte presence in over 100 countries and services markets
to create fact-based model which determined where, when and how the firm should invest for
expansion.
Outcome: Study's recommendations were implemented and each of the five new country practices
chosen for investment grew revenue in excess of 20% per annum during the planning horizon.
As part of this globalizaion plan, relocated to Singapore to lead the firm's IT Strategy practice
in Southeast Asia.
